Sara Bareilles’ new EP, Once Upon Another Time, releases next week. Here’s the first preview off the EP, a beautiful, emotive track titled Lie To Me thanks to Glamour Magazine. It’s a good one, farther removed from some of the good but somewhat cheesy pop tracks that were flying around a lot more recently in her career. Somehow, parts of it remind me of Sarah Maclachlan, though her music doesn’t usually do that. Either way, the lady is still super talented and a heckuva singer, and I love most of her songs. For those that don’t realize how great she is, you need to pay more attention to detail, trust me. ;) I wonder if being on TV shows reduces the credibility of artists in some eyes in some unecessary way? I know some people gloss over her due to her success on TV and elsewhere these days.
